Characteristics:
Alcohol: 12 vol.%, total acidity: 6,1 g/L, residual sugar: 4 g/L, pH: 3,28
Konjičan – Is a white blend of 4 sorts: Laški Rizling (Welsh Riesling), Rizvanec (Muller-Thurgau), Beli Pinot (White Pinot) and Renski Rizling (Riesling). Each sort is classically and traditionally processed. This means a fast grape processing, clarification of the must and alcoholic fermentation at lower temperatures. In this manner, we produce a wine that successfully preserves primary aromas and is fresh, harmonious and drinkable. It is filled in series of 50.000 L. We use 1L and 0,75 L bottles. The wine ages inside the bottles for at least 1 month prior to release.
Color: Golden-yellow color with green shades - very vivacious
Nose/ Bouquet: The nose is gorgeous, reminiscent of flowers, richly fruited (fragrances of green apples and grapefruit) and immensely fresh.
Palate: It is an extremely harmonious wine with pleasant acidity gained from Beli Pinot (White Pinot), ennobled with fruitfulness and extraordinary palate from Rizvanec, generous constitution of Laški Rizling (Welsh Riesling), while Renski Rizling (Riesling) adds a superficial palate, which reveals the characteristics of the ground, is fruity and can only be ascribed to White Konjičan.
To be served with: Sour soup made of trotters, a veal ragout, various stews, etc …
